KidsREAD

Day: Every Wed

Time: 1.40pm – 2.40pm

 

Parent Volunteers (PV) to conduct story telling sessions to students.

 

*PVs are to attend a ONE Time Training conducted by the National Library Board on proper reading skills before you are allowed to commence the sessions.

 

*PVs are required to commit to the programme for the whole year.

 

School Based Dyslexia Remedial Programme (SDR)

 

Friday

(1.10pm – 2.10pm

2.10pm – 3.10pm)

 

PVs are required only for chaperon duties. Render support to the teacher in charge.

 

Eg. Take attendance, engage pupils in educational activities through games and simple art & craft works or reading improvement.

 

No specific trainings are required but would be an added advantage to the children should one have.

 

Traffic Duties

 

Mon – Fri

(6.50am – 7.30am)

 

PVs to station at Blk 350 to guide children / parents on crossing the road.
